Today, March 31st, is the International Transgender Day of Visibility, dedicated to both celebrating the lives of trans people, and raising awareness around the discrimination they continue to face.
Around the world, transgender people are faced with barriers and obstacles that society has constructed for a variety of purposes; none of which are actually aimed at making the world a better place. We cannot simply stand by and acknowledge this one day a year.
INDIGEO VOLO is a society based on inclusion and we are striving to create a larger, safer space for our trans* community. We, as humans, can all do more to make each other feel welcome and appreciated. We should do more; and we’re going to do more.
To our transgender friends and loved ones; we see you, we love you, we stand with you and we are dedicated to ensuring your safety and comfort here in our community. Today and every day.
